Civil Unions

Oklahoma Law should recognize that adults should be free to choose for themselves who they will share their lives with. It is not for the State to define human relationships, but the people. Whether the relationship is that of a woman and a man, a woman and a woman, or a man and a man is not subject to a vote. The role of the law in these matters should be confined to registering and adjudicating whatever contractual arrangements people make for the sharing of property and rearing of children.
